Problems with PC (HW #4)
I love to do net-surfing, so I often see pop up windows with yes or no question. Some of advertisements says "Free." When I clicked "yes," my PC began to download something. After that, a lot of CM windows appeared. I was surprised and erased all of them. The most terrible thing on PC is spy ware. Last month, my PC began to slow and Windows Me told me that my PC lacked system resources. At first, I do not understand what was going on. However, when I asked somebody on my Japanese blog, a gentleman taught me that the cause might be spy ware. I checked my access records to web, and some strange records were there. My PC sent something to the other, and received something. I was so shocked that I did not realize that it had occurred a month ago. I hurried to initialize my PC. After that, I downloaded Spybot and Ad-aware, and check my PC every night.
Future Computers (HW #3)
Of course, computers will be flourished in our life more than before. Not only me but also everybody will want useful tools based on computer technology. One possibility I imagine is that a house will be managed by a computer so that people in the house can know the condition: solar power, temperature, humidity, health( see “Computer Gift 2”), and so on. The people will also be able to check them by a cell phone or a PC at their office. It will be very convenient to care a house and his or her family, but the big problem is that it is easy to be peeked by a third party. Then, security system will be reinforced by a new security program. The anxiety is what I cannot imagine how it costs...
By the way, I have another fancy in the future computers. It is definitely impossible right now, but, to my interests in science fiction, I expect computers to have performance for translation of our brain signals.
Computer Gift 2 (HW #2-ii)
A few years ago, TOTO, a company which is famous for its bathrooms, introduced an epoch-making work. I would say “the Lavatory Revolution.” The new toilet can not only do urinalysis but also weigh his or herself on the toilet seat. It connects with a PC, and a person who use the toilet is able to manage his or her health. Today, you know, a patient who is tough to go to the doctor can talk with through a PC and see each face by its camera. If the patient could buy or rend the toilet, he or she could tell its condition in detail. However, it cost too much. If I had enough money to purchase it, I would give it to my grandfather who cannot walk well now.

VAIO notebook
Computer Gift (HW #2-i)
My grand father gave me a note book PC and its printer in 2001. Before I became a VAIO notebook user, I was a word processor user. The word processor is also given by my grand father. It was Toshiba's RUPO. It was very useful to type with Japanese keys and make greeting cards with a built-in printer. However, computer world is making steady progress. When Japanese major companies began to sell new computers, Toshiba's affairs on word processors was getting in pretty bad shape. As a result, Toshiba discontinued selling RUPO series. Its attendant problem was that the company also stopped to manufacture RUPO series' inc ribbons. Hence, it was difficult to RUPO users to get them; I could not print out anything when my inc ribbon ended. My grand father knew the news, and gave me the note book PC and its printer.

My History with Computers (HW #1)
The first time I met computer was age 6. The computer was a "family computer" which was made by Nintendo, but I had never played its game soft until I Became 11 years old; my parents were so into its game soft (maybe Kakutougi) that they broke the computer before I played any game soft. When I became that age, Nintendo sold a "super famicom". The game craze swept among children, and the first game soft "Mario Cart" became one of my hobbies. In my junior high school, there was a computer class, and that was my first time I learned words, "hard" and "soft". In the class, I used "Basic" and began to learn basic programming. However, as the class finished, I did not study any advanced stages...because I did not have a PC in my house. Now I have my note book PC "Vaio" and am wavering which soft is good to my PC, OpenOffice or Office2000. (My note book PC is 2001-model! Haha......so old...isn't it?)
